Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Ishan Institute of Management and Technology celebrated Gandhi Jayanti through a range of student-led activities that brought the message of Mahatma Gandhi closer to everyday life. The celebration created an opportunity for students to think about values such as simplicity, cleanliness, peace, and responsibility, while expressing their understanding in creative ways.

As part of the celebration, a Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competition was organised. Students put forward their ideas through creative illustrations and meaningful slogans, highlighting themes connected with Gandhi’s philosophy and its relevance in present times. Their work reflected both creativity and awareness of important social values.

The institution also conducted a Cleanliness Drive, encouraging students to contribute towards a cleaner and more responsible environment. The initiative helped reinforce the idea that cleanliness begins with individual effort and becomes meaningful when practised collectively.

The activities made the occasion more than a commemorative event, giving students a chance to participate, express their thoughts, and learn through practical involvement. The celebration also encouraged them to look at values such as self-discipline, social responsibility, and respect for the community from a contemporary perspective.
