Ishan Institute of Management and Technology organised a three-day Scout and Guide Camp for its B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. students at the Ishan Campus. The camp was conducted with the aim of developing discipline, leadership, teamwork and self-reliance among students through practical and engaging activities.

The camp included a range of activities designed to help students learn skills beyond the classroom. Students participated in first-aid training, trekking, tent pitching and knot-tying, giving them an opportunity to learn how to respond to situations that require presence of mind, cooperation and practical problem-solving. Cultural activities and group competitions were also organised, encouraging students to work together, participate actively and showcase their individual as well as team skills.
Miss Shweta Bhardwaj, District Organising Commissioner, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Hindustan Scouts & Guides Association, U.P., was associated with the camp and guided the students during the activities. Her involvement added practical direction to the training and helped students understand the values and responsibilities associated with scouting.

The camp also emphasised the importance of discipline, service and a sense of responsibility towards others. The activities encouraged students to step outside their usual academic routine, take initiative and learn through direct participation.
The three-day programme provided students with a memorable and practical learning experience. It helped strengthen their confidence, teamwork and leadership abilities while encouraging them to carry the values of discipline, service and self-reliance into their everyday lives.
