The Orientation Day for the academic year 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 13th September 2024 at the College Conference Hall. The event warmly welcomed the new students of BBA, B. Com (NEP), B. Com (Hons), BCA, and M. Com programs.
The event was smoothly coordinated by Ms. Tulsi Aggarwal and Ms. Geeta Rani. The proceedings began with the ceremonial lamp lighting by our esteemed Chairman Sir, who also delivered an inspiring speech to motivate and encourage the freshers as they embark on their academic journey. Mr. Aman Arya, the Chief Financial Officer of our institution, addressed the students and shared valuable guidance to help them shape their future paths effectively.
We were honoured to host two distinguished guests on this special day. The first guest, Mr. Sandeep Goel, CEO of Smart Money, delivered an insightful lecture titled “Mapping the Entrepreneurial Adventure,” highlighting the exciting world of entrepreneurship. He plunged into the exciting and challenging world of entrepreneurship and captivated the audience by sharing his personal journey—detailing the struggles, setbacks, and milestones that shaped his path to success. His real-life experiences offered valuable lessons on resilience, determination, and the importance of pursuing one’s goals with passion and perseverance.
The second guest, Ms. Nitya Chugh, Founder of Aaina Careers and a renowned public speaker, inspired students with her talk on “Passion to Profit,” emphasizing how hobbies can be transformed into successful business ventures. She shared real-life examples and practical strategies to help students understand how hobbies and interests can evolve into successful careers. Her insights encouraged students to pursue what they love, with confidence and purpose. A significant part of her lecture focused on the role of effective communication skills in personal and professional success.
Following the guest lectures, Dr. Harinderjit Kaur, Vice Principal of the college, delivered an encouraging address to motivate the students toward academic and personal excellence. To help students feel more connected, all faculty members introduced themselves and briefed the students about the subjects they would be teaching.
