Code of Conduct

We welcome students as essential contributors to our academic community. This code emphasizes creating an inclusive and supportive environment through mutual respect and understanding.

Code of Conduct for Students

  • Respect for All: Treat all community members with dignity. Discrimination and harassment based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability is prohibited.
  • Academic Integrity: Maintain the highest standards of honesty. Plagiarism, cheating, or any other form of academic dishonesty will not be tolerated.
  • Maintain a Positive Environment: Contribute constructively to the academic atmosphere. Engage in civil discussions with openness to differing perspectives.
  • Attendance & Punctuality: Regular class attendance is required. Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory. Students below this threshold cannot appear for university exams.
  • Responsible Resource Use: Utilize institutional facilities and technology responsibly. Report any misuse or damage promptly.
  • Personal Conduct: Behave responsibly both on and off campus as institutional representatives.
  • No Alcohol/Drugs/Substance Abuse: Possession, distribution, or consumption of illegal drugs or unauthorized substances on college premises is strictly prohibited.
  • No Violence or Threats: Refrain from physical violence, threats, or aggression toward any community members.
  • Respect College Property: Vandalism and theft are prohibited.
  • Participation in College Activities: Engage actively in events, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Adherence to College Policies: Familiarize with and follow all institutional policies and guidelines.
  • Reporting Violations: Report code violations and ragging concerns to appropriate authorities.
