Shalya Tantra (Surgery)

Shalya tantra a branch of Ayurveda which deals with Ayurvedic surgery and provides a basic understanding of the principles of modern surgery.

This department has its own OPD (General Shalya, Anorectal & Orthopedic), IPD, Minor Operation theatre (Sastra Karma, Kshara Karma, Kshara Sutra, Agnikarma & Raktamokshana Units) and Major Operation theatre.

 The OPD of Shalya tantra Department at Ishan Ayurvedic Hospital has well qualified and experienced team of Surgeons and Paramedical Staff.

Specialized treatment is provided by shalya tantra department of Ishan Ayuvedic hospital for

• Arsha and Bhagandara with Kshara Karma and Kshara Sutra therapy,
• Gridhrasi, Sandhivata, Kadara, Vatakantaka, Charmakeela, Avabahuka, Tennis Elbow etc. by Agnikarma, Raktamokshana, Marma Chikitsa and Shalya Karma therapies.
• The Department also provides treatment for chronic non healing ulcers, periheral vascular disorders by Jalaukavacharana method
