The Ishan Institute of Management and Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “Anti-Ragging & Student Safety Programme” on 19th February 2024, with the objective of spreading awareness about student rights, campus safety, and the importance of a ragging-free academic environment. The session was led by key speakers Ms. Sheersa and Mr. Vishal Dixit, both Assistant Professors from the Department of Law, who provided valuable insights into the legal framework surrounding anti-ragging measures and student protection policies.
Their informative and interactive session emphasized the responsibilities of students in maintaining a respectful and inclusive campus culture, while also educating them about the consequences of ragging and the support systems available. The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Mona Singh, who ensured smooth execution and active participation from students and faculty alike. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A round, reinforcing the importance of safety, awareness, and mutual respect within the college community.
