Our college proudly organized a Debate Competition on the thought-provoking topic “Can (Mis)Information on Social Media Do More Harm than Good?” on 23rd February 2024. The event was coordinated by Ms. Rakhi Kumari, Assistant Professor, who meticulously planned and managed the competition, ensuring active participation from a diverse group of students. The participants passionately debated both sides of the issue, demonstrating excellent research, critical thinking, and eloquence as they articulated their views on the impact of social media in today’s world.
The competition was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Tushar Arya, CEO of the college, who addressed the audience with an inspiring speech. He motivated the students to give their best and highlighted the importance of informed dialogue in shaping responsible digital citizens.
After a lively and engaging contest, Vaibhav Khari from the B.Com program was awarded the 1st position for his exceptional argumentation skills, while Aviral Sharma from the BBA program secured the runner-up spot. The event concluded with great enthusiasm as all participants and faculty members gathered for group photographs, capturing the memorable moments and the spirit of healthy competition.
